The Faithful Christ

Read Psalm 92:1-2

To really grasp what faithfulness means, we need to consider the perfect picture of faithfulness: that of Jesus Himself.

He is our faithful Shepherd who seeks the straying sheep. He is the faithful Savior who paid the price of our redemption. He is the faithful Priest who intercedes before God's throne on our behalf. He is the faithful King who rules His subjects with justice, integrity, and love.

There's so much more to learn about the faithfulness of Christ. There is no end to His faithfulness. Great is His faithfulness! Even now you know enough to know that He is worthy of your worship.

Perhaps you need to stop right now and simply give thanks and praise Him for His faithfulness—the faithfulness that resulted in your salvation. Because of His faithfulness, you now have life, hope, joy, love, and every other good gift He has given you which are recorded in His Word, the Bible. Because of His faithfulness, you have every reason to sing, dance, shout, clap, and praise His Holy Name.

"It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, 0 Most High, to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night" (Psalm 92:1-2).
